The EIBTM Technology Watch is the most significant and longest-running technology award in the meetings and trade show industries, meetings technology expert Corbin Ball reported. This year, one winner and four finalists were selected from 56 applications, a record number. Seven judges scored the entries based on innovation, completeness of concept and potential value to the meetings industry.

The companies selected highlight several paths of technology, including Near Field Communication (NFC), precise indoor positioning/way finding, mobile event applications and innovative data analytics on site using tablet devices.
